CORPORATE HISTORY

Atlas Development Corporation was established in 1989 by Robert “Rob” D. Atlas with the aim of building mission critical, high performance database-driven business solutions. He soon was joined by his brother, Stephen.

In a relatively short period, Atlas Development became a leader in systems consulting and development of sophisticated software solutions for segments of the healthcare industry and financial services companies. The Company attracted a reputation for delivering development projects on time and budget for demanding clients.

In 19___, Atlas development created a state of the art clinical trials management system for Smith Beachum Clinical Laboratories. In 1995, the Company teamed with Specialty Laboratories to develop Atlas LabWorks™, a character-based laboratory order entry and resulting system, which subsequently became a flagship Atlas product. To date, more than _____Atlas LabWorks systems have been deployed across the U.S. and south America.

Atlas evolved Atlas LabWorks to Windows‚ in 1998 and launched a browser-based version of the software in 2000. In 2001, Atlas formed its Atlas Medical division to market the product aggressively to laboratories throughout the United States. Today, the system is used by more than 25 national and regional laboratories, including MDS Diagnostics, Dynacare Laboratories (now part of LabCorp), Biopath Clinical Laboratories, Spectrum Laboratories, Sunrise Laboratories, and Spectra Renal Management (the largest network of ESRD clinics in the US). It is widely considered the premiere physician order entry solution for the clinical lab market.

Most recently, the company introduced Total Outreach Management as a new approach to clinical connectivity for hospital and independent clinical laboratories. It’s an approach that Atlas believes will significantly improve service while increasing efficiency and enhancing the lab’s relationship with the physician and patient client.

Over the last two years, Atlas’s consulting arm has developed a state-of-the-art communicable disease tracking and reporting system (CMR) for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. LA County is the largest county in California; with an area of more than 4,000 square miles and a population of over 10 million it accounts for approximately 40% of all communicable disease reporting to the State. Atlas’s software acts as an early-warning system for communicable disease outbreaks throughout the County, alerting County caseworkers through direct links to hospital and reference laboratories as well as infectious disease practitioners and other healthcare providers. The system recently won the 2002 Alfred Guttenberg Technology Award, part of the County’s Productivity and Quality Awards Program.

Atlas believes CMR could become a critical protective vehicle to thwart bio-terrorism threats.

Atlas also developed a long-term care enterprise application that has been operating since January 2000 in Schuylkill County, PA. This award-winning software has set a new standard in the long-term care industry as a comprehensive and cost-effective software solution that significantly increases efficiency and dramatically improves the quality of care.

Over the years, Atlas has demonstrated strong expertise in the financial services sector. For Ameritrade Securities, the Company designed and built the file transfer protocol and interfaces for transferring client data between the broker’s back office operations and other brokerage houses using a third party clearinghouse. Atlas also built a powerful online loan origination and approval system for Credit Union Direct Lending. The system links more than 2000 automobile dealers with CUDL’s central database, allowing credit applications to be submitted electronically. Upon submission, credit reports from the major reporting agencies are requested and the application is scored and returned to the dealer with an answer, in as little as five seconds.

In addition, the company has developed payroll systems, a commodities futures trading application, and an inventory, billing and accounting package.
