Job Description:
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for responding to all client requests for technical support and assistance.The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing appropriate solutions to client issues and escalating unresolved issues within established guidelines. The staff in this position may be required to perform 'shift-work' or follow a work schedule that is outside of regular business hours.
Skillset Requirements:
Exceptional comprehension skills, and ability to learn and contribute with minimal oversight - a self starter.
Ability to think in abstract and quickly grasp the essence of the job at hand.
Excellent English communication skills both oral and written, dealing with technical data.
Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with clients and co-workers.
Ability to work with Support and Development teams in the US
Technical Requirements:
.NET - ASP, C# or VB.net
Multi-tiered application design and development
RDBMS design (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
HTML/DHTML and JavaScript
TCP/IP and Networking skills'
The applicant should be able to analyze and interpret data relating to various projects and resolve issues and problems that arise.
Minimum 3 years experience in a technical customer support role.
Development experience a definite plus.
Modem knowledge / troubleshooting ability.
