Job Description:
The Systems and Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining existing local and wide-area networks, planning and implementing upgrades, ensuring system integrity and establishing security protocols.

Skillset Requirements:
Exceptional comprehension skills, and ability to learn and contribute with minimal oversight - a self starter
Ability to think in abstract and quickly grasp the essence of the job at hand
Excellent English communication skills both oral and written, dealing with technical data
Ability to work with IT team in the US
Should have exceptional time management, planning and organizing skills

Technical Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
3+ years progressive System/Network Administration experience
RDBMS design (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
MS Office Suite of products
Excellent knowledge of WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls and routers
Strong network, troubleshooting, multi-tasking, communication and customer service skills
Strong knowledge of server related technology (i.e., RAID systems, tape drives, SCSI devices etc.)
Good knowledge of key operating systems (Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows XP), critical applications (Veritas, etc), NIS, email, DNS, LDAP, DHCP, and system automation
Good knowledge of FTP, DNS, SMTP, POP3, SSL, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint, WINS, DHCP, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
Good technical/analytical skills

Job responsibilities:
Manages internal networks
Participates in planning and executing network and systems upgrades,enhancements and growth
Participates in planning and implementing VPNs to clients sites and the US offices
Maintains server and network security
Diagnose and repair system and network issues and provide technical support to bothinternal and external systemend users
Develop and document standard operating procedures for both deployment and troubleshooting
Research and recommend equipment and applications for deployment
Identify potential bottlenecks and suggest resolutions
Identify and resolve security risks
Document system infrastructure
Research costs for new equipment
Setup and configure hardware (desktops, laptops, servers, routers, etc.)
Monitor servers and company backups
Create, delete and reset accounts in Active Directory and Exchange
Troubleshoot and resolve computer problems
Provide after-hours support on an as needed basis, 24x7
